The Medal of Freedom Awards are the IASC’s highest global awards for a lifetime of achievement to Anti-Slavery, Anti-Bullying & Anti-Human Trafficking causes. We salute extraordinary individuals, groups & partnerships, charities, commercial enterprises & government authorities. This year’s winner is Sir Paul Hutchinson, and we are truly honoured to be presenting this remarkable gentleman with our greatest global honour at the Awards night. bookings are still available.

For outstanding achievement in anti-bullying, anti-slavery, or anti-trafficking educational programs, online education, educational presentations, educational lectures & speeches and presenters. Educational awareness programs – individual or group.

For outstanding achievement in producing an event, conference, or promotional campaign that promotes anti-bullying, anti-slavery, and anti-trafficking – individual or group.

The Shauna T. Kelly Memorial Prize for Legal & Allied Fields

For outstanding achievement in providing legal assistance to victims, legal consultation to businesses or governments, pro-bono advice, or for the prosecution of individuals or groups involved in human trafficking. Individual or group.

For re-homing, shelter, repatriation, care & assistance in the anti-bullying, anti-slavery, and anti-trafficking –  individual or group.

For anti-bullying, anti-slavery, or anti-trafficking programs specifically designed towards women and/or outstanding achievement in programs and assistance designed for women  –   individual or group.

For anti-bullying, anti-slavery, or anti-trafficking programs in community groups, religious groups, charities, or related fields –    individual or group.

For a remarkable individual or group who volunteers with anti-bullying, anti-slavery or anti-trafficking programs and/or outstanding achievements as a global volunteer. 

For anti-bullying, anti-trafficking, or anti-slavery programs or education or outstanding achievement from Police, Fire, and First Responders, Ambulance & Emergency Hotlines  –   individual or group.

For specific anti-bullying, anti-slavery, or anti-trafficking programs, help or assistance or outstanding achievement in the medical, hospital, psychiatric, counselling, support, and associated medical-related fields –   individual or group.

For anti-bullying, anti-trafficking, or anti-slavery programs, education or outstanding achievement in local government –   individual or group.

For anti-bullying, anti-trafficking, or anti-slavery programs, education or outstanding achievement in any state government –   individual or group.

For anti-bullying, anti-trafficking, or anti-slavery programs, education or outstanding achievement in any federal government –   individual or group.

For anti-bullying, anti-slavery or anti-trafficking programs & education, or development of new slave-free-products or social media influencers who promote green barcodes, re-wearable fashion, slave-free makeup, ingredients, formulas, and cosmetics —   individual or group  

For anti-bullying, anti-slavery, or anti-trafficking programs or outstanding global achievement in “farm to table”, agriculture, food & beverage production and service, and charity meals in the food & beverage-related industries.  –   individual or group.

For anti-bullying, anti-slavery, or anti-trafficking programs or outstanding global achievement in travel, airlines, airports, hotels, trucking, transport & related fields –   individual or group.

For anti-bullying, anti-slavery, or anti-trafficking programs, books, writing, music, videos, documentaries, performance art, social media, photography, marketing, and social media influencers on a global scale  –  individual or group.

For outstanding achievement on a global scale in computers & technology, websites, online shopping guides & related fields against bullying, modern slavery & human trafficking programs – individual or group.

For outstanding achievement on a global scale for an individual or group in finance, commerce & industry who develop and publicise a strong human-trafficking statement, produce, sell or recommend specifically slave-free, fair trade products and who inspect supply lines, with the ultimate goal – to proudly sell, use and recommend 100% green barcode slave-free products.

Additional Rising Star:

For outstanding achievement and/or heroic act, or acts, by an individual or group. These astounding people and groups give little consideration to their own personal safety, or how their cause might put themselves personally at risk. These heroes travel far & wide and search out victims, and instead of turning away, they put their careers, and sometimes their lives, on the line to rescue trafficked victims.

NOMINATIONS: Anyone can nominate for the Medal of Freedom Awards, at any time of year. If the nomination is received after the closing date, that nomination is processed the following year

VOTING: There is no voting for the Medal of Freedom Award. The Award is based on the number of nominations received throughout the year. The top 5 nominees are all equal recipients of the IASC Medal of Freedom Award.
